After graduating from Rhodes University, he moved to London, where he worked under Charles Marowitz and Thelma Holt as production manager at the Open Space Theatre. A spell on Ibiza, teaching English, History, and Drama, was followed by a return to London and jobs in modelling, acting, film distribution and latterly as a literary agent. Peake Associates is a London based literary agency handling a range of fiction and non-fiction.
